Elanco's Vira Shield 6 + VL5 is a killed virus and bacterin vaccine for healthy cattle. The vaccine protects against several respiratory and reproductive diseases and is safe for use in pregnant cows and heifers. 

Uses and benefits

• Protection against pathogens: Vira Shield 6 + VL5 provides comprehensive protection against key bovine respiratory and reproductive diseases.
• Viruses: Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR), Bovine Viral Diarrhea (BVD) Types 1 and 2, Parainfluenza 3 (PI3), and Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV).
• Bacteria: Campylobacter fetus (Vibrio) and five common strains of Leptospira.
• Safe for pregnant cows: As a killed vaccine, it can be safely administered to all classes of cattle, including pregnant ces, heifers, and calves nursing pregnant cows.
• Improved reproductive performance: The vaccine, which includes the Xtend SP adjuvant, is designed to improve conception rates in cattle.
• Extended immunity: The inclusion of Xtend SP adjuvant provides long-lasting immune stimulation.
