Nutrena ProForce Senior is a high-fat, controlled-starch, beet pulp-based horse feed designed for active and hard-keeping senior horses. It is formulated as a complete feed, meaning it can be fed in combination with hay and pasture or as the sole diet for older horses who can no longer chew roughage properly.

Feeding directions
Feeding rates for ProForce Senior should be adjusted based on the horse's body condition, activity level, and access to hay or pasture.
- With hay/pasture: For horses with no dental problems, feed 0.45–0.90 lbs per 100 lbs of body weight per day, in addition to good-quality roughage.
- As a complete feed: For horses that cannot properly chew hay, feed 1.1–1.8% of the horse's body weight per day as the sole diet.
- Transition slowly: To introduce the new feed, transition over a 7- to 10-day period.
- Always provide water: Ensure the horse has access to clean, fresh water at all times.
